A Garden for Living

This minimalist front and back gardens were inspired by the principles of modern landscape architecture. The custom pale limestone and black granite terrace establishes a free flow between the house and garden while the simple overall structure integrates distinct areas for dining, gathering and strolling in the expansive landscape. The bold geometry and sharp angles create dynamic spaces with a strong balance between the raised planting beds and open space. The well-articulated limestone path, the textural mass plantings and the line of Gingko trees set up a strong visual axis that guides the movement towards the sculpture at the back of the garden.
