Shadow Bosque

Through light, colour and texture, the patinaed steel sculpture embodies the essence of the ethereal, Northern light of the Boreal Forests in Canada. Filtered rays fall through the abstract verticals onto the ground of pea-gravel which becomes a fluid display of shadows. Located on the corner of a North-facing residential garden, this installation celebrates the infinite qualities of light over the seasons - from the low, dim slants of Winter to the extended, warm glow of Summer.
